Kitab Hukum Kanonik merupakan perangkat normatif sekaligus sarana pastoral yang menjaga persekutuan, keadilan, keteraturan, dan tanggung jawab dalam kehidupan Gereja. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman para biarawati-religius di Novisiat KYM mengenai fungsi pastoral Kitab Hukum Kanonik, hak dan kewajiban umat beriman, tata hidup bakti, serta penerapannya dalam kehidupan komunitas. Kursus dilaksanakan setiap Jumat pertama dan kedua selama September-Desember 2024 di Aula Susteran KYM, Jalan Sibolga-Pematangsiantar, dengan Higianes Indro Pandego, Lic.IC sebagai narasumber. Metode kegiatan meliputi seminar interaktif, pembahasan kanon, diskusi, studi kasus, refleksi pastoral, dan latihan penerapan hukum Gereja. Keabsahan pelaksanaan diverifikasi melalui Surat Tugas Nomor 025/FF/C.03/2024, delapan lembar daftar hadir berkala, dokumentasi foto, dan berita acara tertanggal 14 Desember 2024. Daftar hadir menunjukkan tujuh peserta mengikuti rangkaian kursus secara berulang. Hasil pada tingkat proses memperlihatkan tersedianya ruang pembinaan yang terstruktur, penguatan pemahaman hukum sebagai sarana pastoral, serta kemampuan peserta menghubungkan norma Gereja dengan spiritualitas hidup bakti. Program menghasilkan materi kursus, perangkat studi kasus, dan rekomendasi pembinaan hukum Gereja secara berkelanjutan.
