Abstract

Program Digital English dirancang untuk mengatasi masalah keterbatasan akses dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di daerah terpencil melalui platform YouTube. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas teknologi dan keterlibatan siswa. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pengembangan infrastruktur teknologi melalui kemitraan dengan pemerintah dan perusahaan swasta, program donasi perangkat, serta pelatihan teknologi untuk orang tua dan guru. Selain itu, konten pembelajaran interaktif yang menggunakan animasi dan gamifikasi dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 80% sekolah di daerah terpencil kini memiliki akses internet yang memadai dan 75% siswa telah menerima perangkat tablet. Pelatihan teknologi berhasil meningkatkan literasi teknologi di kalangan orang tua dan guru, sementara konten interaktif meningkatkan partisipasi siswa hingga 85%. Peningkatan rata-rata 20% dalam kemampuan bahasa Inggris siswa juga tercatat. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan terpadu yang menggabungkan teknologi dan dukungan komunitas dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan akses dan kualitas pendidikan di daerah terpencil
